Hey there, thanks for linking to our camera shoot out. You maybe interested to know that the camera shoot out was done in Malaysia. I was in KK for christmas with my iPhone and we used Sony phones bought in Malaysia as comparisons.

Personally I do think Malaysia is ready for a legit carrier of the iPhone, I saw so many Unlocked versions up there that there is defiantly a market for them. As for 3G etc, I used a DiGi 3G card in my iPhone and had no worries at all with it. Great for calls, 3G data and the aGPS

I think you are right, it is time for one of these companies to front up to Apple, agree to their pricing and get on with it.

SoyaCincau says [090203] Yo Mr. K, thanks for dropping by.

Yeah we noticed the local flavour that's the reason why we picked your review. It's simple and provides the info people need to make an informed decision. Good stuff!.

And yeah, we can't agree with you more. Local telcos should pull up their socks and bring in the iP3G officially - all at a reasonable price bundled with a good plan of course.

At the very least it will help bring prices of the unofficial sets down. Currently underwater iP3G are going for close to RM4k - what a ripoff!

If you look at it that way in the end everyone wins. So please telcos!
